The G700 are potentiometer foot control pedals that feature the heavy-duty die-cast construction of the G-Series and an oversized guard. Simply press down on the pedal to move through the range of the potentiometer; release your foot and the pedal will return upright. These foot controls can be used to vary the speed of motors when used with variable-speed motor drives and can also be used for other electronics applications. Contact the manufacturer of the motor speed drive to see what potentiometer resistance value, power requirement, and other specifications are required for your application (we cannot determine this for you).
The G700’s are available with or without a switch. Units with switches are set for the switch to activate at the beginning of the pedal cycle (at the top of the pedal motion), and the switch will stay on as the pedal continues through the range of the potentiometer as the pedal is pressed down. The rugged die-cast aluminum construction will not rust or break when dropped, and the housing provides a water/dust/oil/splash-resistant enclosure when properly connected ( NEMA Type 2, 4, & 13 or IEC IP56). Please read the foot switch safety warning before purchasing any foot control.
* Momentary action: Press and hold at desired level to use, release your foot to return upright.
Notes:
- Contact the manufacturer of the motor speed drive to see what potentiometer resistance value (ohms), power requirement (watts), and other specifications are required for your application (we cannot determine this for you).
- The G700 cannot be used with the G-Series handle option (“-HA”).
